Chitrali Music at UN Youth Assembly

NEW YORK: Chitrali Cultural Dance presented at The Youth Assembly at the United Nations
as a sign of peace to both India and Pakistan on this independence day(s) and to every other country.

Wahid Khan a student of Habib University Karachi presented this cultural dance to the floor. On this occasion he said.

“We all have a horrific history of getting out of colonization and this independence, lets unite to work on SDGs and better quality life assurance together instead of celebrating our dominance over others. The youth around the world want peace and a better future where we don’t invest in nuclear weapon, but on Education, better health care, environment, gender equality and much more. This is a request to world leaders to make this possible for us from youth sitting in this room from around 100 countries.
Let’s not forget brutal partitions and lets get united for bright future! Love will always beat hate and friendship and collaboration will solve our challenges. Long live humanity!”
