The Nepotisms, Favourtisms and Illegal Supports to Select the Blue-Eyed Candidates

Swabi:(Special Representative)Since the very beginning of the MTI – GKMC/BKMC, Swabi on 02.04.2021. It has turned into a center for corruption, nepotism, favouritisms, and violations of the merits. For the Post of the Dean, Prof. Dr. Shams ur Rehman who is Brother-in-Law of the Member of BoG the Former Prof. Dr. Iqbal Begum and also a near relative of another Member of BoG Dr. Tufail Muhammad.

Both of the aforementioned Members of BoG have used their influences, powers, and contacts to select the most ineligible candidate and pressurized the scrutiny committee to shortlist him and brought him to the 5th Position. Instead of calling the Top three candidates, the Selection Committee under very pressures of the aforementioned two Members of BoG called seven candidates for the interviews to select Prof. Dr. Shams ur, Rehman. Similarly, for the Post of the Secretary BoG, to select the blue-eyed ineligible candidate Mr. Waris Khan on Merit Position No. 19, the Selection Committee again called twenty candidates rather than calling three to five candidates and selected that very “Safarshi Candidate” as the Secretary BoG. Similarly for the Medical Director, the merit has been violated as the BoG of the MTI – GKMC/BKMC, Swabi called seven candidates in place of the top three candidates.

For the Post of the Hospital Director, the interviews are to be held on 06.06. 2021 were canceled to the select blue-eyed candidate. Initially, only nine candidates were shortlisted but later on, a total of nineteen candidates were selected to include the most ineligible and the specific “Safarshi Candidates” including Dr. Shafiq (backed and supported by Shahram Khan Tarakai), Dr. Khalid Mashud (backed and supported by the aforementioned two Members of BoG that is Dr. Tufail Muhammad and Dr. Iqbal Begum) (It is highly worth mentioning here that Dr. Khalid Mashud was removed from the MTI – LRH, Peshawar by the Honourable Supreme Court of Pakistan in 2018 and later on by the Health Department, Government of KP, Peshawar over the very Reports of the Audit Committee), Col. Retired Dr. Hamid Saeed, Col. Retired Dr. Sajjad Afridi and Brig. Retired. Dr. Hasan Ibrahim and Dr. Maqsood Ali. All of those deeds of the aforementioned BoG are clear-cut violations of the merits.
