Community Based Organizations conference held at Garamchishma.

CHITRAL: Community Based Organizations (CBO) conference held at Garmchishma some 45 KM from here. The conference was organized by LGE & RDD which was facilitated by Sarhad Rural Support program. provincial Secretary Local Government Syed Jamaluddin Shah was chief guest on the occasion while the conference was presided over by district Nazim Haji Maghfirat Shah.
Addressing to the conference District Program Manager of CDL Kamal Abdul Jameel highlighted aim and objectives of this conference and importance of Community Drive Local Development (CDLD) program.
Local councilors hailed CDLD program they said that several rehabilitation and developmental plans were completed by this program at Chitral which is the most backward and risk zone district. Some local girls presented Hamd and Naath sharif in melodeon voice and enthralled the participants. Traditional gifts of cloak and Chitral caps were also presented to the guest.

Addressing on the occasion the speakers said that European Union had transferred fund for deferent schemes but they were stranded at Finance department of KP but after arrival of Syed Jamaluddin Shah Secretary Local government this fund is utilizing for different rehabilitation and developmental schemes.

Additional Assistant Commissioner Minhasuddin, Director planning and Development Hayat Shah, Chief Executive officer of SRSP Shahzada Masoodul Mulk Alamzeb Advocate, Director General NAB KP Mian Mustafa and other spoke on the occasion. Miss Safina briefed the stakeholders in her presentation regarding the completed works by CDLD.

A large number of people belonging to all walks of life including councilors, women organizations, village organizations, Nazimeen, government officials and social workers participated in the conference.
