Job Fair and Skills Exhibition organised in Technical and Vocational College for Women Balch Chitral in collaboration with AKRSP

CHITRAL (PRESS RELEASE) Government Technical College for Women Balch Chitral is organizing Job Fair and Skills Exhibition this year like previous years with a large number of stalls. Today this event was inaugurated by Director TEVTA KPK in a program organized in the said college. The event has been organized under the chairmanship of Sun Rose, principal of the said college. The ceremony started with the recitation of Kalam Majeed followed by the National Anthem. After that, college students presented items on various topics. The function was addressed by College Principal Sun Rose, Director TVETA KP Abdul Ghaffar, Regional Program Manager AKRSP Chitral Akhtar Ali.

The speakers in their address emphasized the importance of technical education and agreed to acquire and utilize technical education to get maximum benefit from the natural resources of Chitral. And emphasized on improving communication between government agencies and working together on tasks of common importance.

After this short and concise opening ceremony, the chief guest along with other guests visited the stalls and appreciated the skill of the local artisans. In his interview with the media, he also praised the organization of the event and stressed the trend of competition so that consumers can get quality products. After the break of Friday prayers, public interest continued with the stalls, children and women were seen buying their favorite items from the stalls. This event will continue tomorrow.

It should be noted that the Aga Khan Rural Support Program has supported the organization of this event under the project (BEST4WEER) supported by the Canadian government.
